The Traveling Team's heart for God, vision for the Great Commission, and love for students shine through every time they join local groups. They humbly seek to learn the sending interest of the receiving ministry and work that into their presentation so that every time they present, they are supporting and strengthening local ministries.
The Traveling Team has been an excellent partner for Cru as we continue to challenge students and faculty to consider what God is calling them to do and where God is calling them to go in light of the Great Commission.
I can't think of a better group of people to mobilize my students than The Traveling Team. Every time I'm reminded of the need for the gospel to go to peoples that are born, live & die without hearing it in their own language and culture my heart is pounding and aching. For now, God has clearly kept my wife and I from going. So my vision is to send as many students from the campuses DiscipleMakers ministers at. The Traveling Team has been one of the most effective means to grab the hearts of students, giving them a vision bigger than themselves, and stirring some to go.
The Traveling Team has been and continues to be the most effective communicator of God’s heart for the peoples of the world to the collegiate population. Their model of excellence in presentation, cooperation, and servant leadership has effectively served the vision of campus ministries across the United States in a significant manner. Only in heaven will we truly know the depth of global impact TTT has made for the Kingdom of God.
INSPIRING and ENGAGING... The Traveling Team is not a self-promoting ministry, as they share the need to reach all the nations for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. They promote the need for missions and various mission organizations to reach our world with the gospel; showing any person how they can use their giftedness to serve on a mission. They are "eye-openers" for people to respond to the Great Commission, which is the duty of all believers.
I LOVE The Traveling Team! They do an excellent job of communicating God’s heart for the world which allows us to easily challenge students to World Christian Discipleship, be that reaching out to international students, summer mission projects, considering how to live this out in their future career, or going overseas short or long term! When I was a student, The Traveling Team helped shaped me as a World Christian, and now I have been working in campus ministry with international students and mobilizing for over 10 years!
