Having The Traveling Team Visit every two years is a highlight of mine. Through their presentation I've seen many students have their minds enlightened and hearts opened to see that there is a world full of people that God loves. Many have accepted the invitation to partner with God to reach all peoples, both on campus and around the world.
The Traveling Team does a great job raising awareness of God's heart for the world, and motivating students to apply that - whether on far away missions or building connections with international students at our own campus! Several of our students have participated in their summer program for further missions exposure and training.
We've had The Traveling Team speak at our ministry twice now, and I eagerly look forward to the next time they are available to come back. The presentation is excellent, the message is straight from scripture, and for our students, it's unforgettable. I love seeing our students motivated and empowered to share the gospel world-wide.
The Traveling Team has shared God’s heart for the world every other year on our campus for the past decade. They have mobilized some students to give their summers to learning more about God’s heart for the world. One year they inspired a group of students to begin a weekly Mobilization Group. This group prayed for the persecuted, learned what is happening in the world for Christ and learned many ways of sharing the Gospel. We are thankful for The Traveling Team’s unique message for reaching the world for Christ.
The Traveling Team’s consistently does the impossible. They come to our campus and invite us into God’s HUGE mission with a simple message. They present us with doable steps forward. Every time they visit our campus lives are forever changed.
I love it when The Traveling Team comes, because shortly after they leave, I present opportunities to our Christian students to become conversation partners with international students on our campus. I was able to match several, and some of our Christian students took their new international friends home with them for Thanksgiving!
I LOVE The Traveling Team! They do an excellent job of communicating God’s heart for the world which allows us to easily challenge students to World Christian Discipleship, be that reaching out to international students, summer mission projects, considering how to live this out in their future career, or going overseas short or long term! When I was a student, The Traveling Team helped shaped me as a World Christian, and now I have been working in campus ministry with international students and mobilizing for over 10 years!
