In the midst of getting a passport, raising support, and packing a suitcase for a mission trip, it’s easy to forget the most important form of preparation: spiritual preparation. If we don’t let God prepare our hearts ahead of time, we will head into another culture without being plugged in to our “Power Source,” i.e. God Himself. From Him comes any spiritual growth or success (1 Cor. 3:6, Hosea 14:8), so spiritual preparation is the most necessary of all our preparations if we want to do work that will have eternal impact.
This 30-day Bible reading guide is designed to help you do just that. Take at least 15 minutes a day to read each passage, meditate on its truths, and pray for your upcoming trip.
